Paris, France nightlife and nightclubs
Paris is a city which has plenty to offer in terms of history, culture, architecture, sports, shopping and entertainment, and it is also a hotspot for people who enjoy partying the night away. Some of the top areas to head for a night out in Paris are:
Oberkampf
Being renowned as a fashionable area to spend the evening, this is one of the busiest and most popular night spots within Paris. The venues range from small bars, relaxing coffee house style buildings and cocktail bars to large clubs. If you like being with the ‘in’ crowd then head over here.
Bastille Nightclubs
One of the streets in this region, La Rue de la Roquette is one of the most
popular places in the city to start the night as there are so many bars within close proximity to each other. The crowds in this area are generally young and are packed with people looking for a real party. Again, there is a good mix of small bars and larger clubs.
Nightlife in the Champs Elysees area
This is one of the most iconic areas in Paris, and as well as being a thriving business environment during the day, it is a popular hang out with tourists who enjoy larger, more generic night clubs. The dress code in this area can often be strict, given that there are many classy nightclubs in the Champs Elysees area.
Marais nightclubs
This area is renowned for its range of gay and lesbian bars, of which there are plenty. Despite this there are a number of bars which cater to people of all sexualities and there is something special about having a night out in an area which has so much history. Clubs such as Cabaret Lido Paris and Le Queen Paris both have good reputations and are worth a visit. Marais is a great area for enjoying the Parisian nightlife and nightlubs and is considered by many to be one of the best areas in the evenings.
